Live broadcast, October 17 News Warriors held a news conference for Wikins and Poole to renew the contract today.
At the press conference, Wikins was asked about his personal goal after the renewal. Wikins replied, “I want to continue to rebound. I feel that I have improved at this point in the playoffs, I want to keep it and continue to defend.”
In the playoffs last season, Wikins averaged 7.5 rebounds, the whole team was second only to Rooney’s 7.6.
