Clay: I rated myself last season that A took two and A half years off and was the second scorer of the champion team.

Live broadcast, October 18 today, Clay was interviewed by NBA official website. In the interview, he talked about his summary of last season and his expectations for the new season.

Asked how to evaluate his performance last season, Clay said: “I am perfectionists. I think I will increase the proportion of shooting in my own way in the new season. It was a big challenge to find back the feeling of my legs before. At that time, I was in the peak state. Although my performance in 32 regular season matches was unstable, I think I played well in the playoffs. It would be better if we could shoot more accurately in the finals (with an average of 17 points, field goal percentage of 35.6%, and a three-point shooting rate of 35.1%).”

“At the same time, I also voted shots at the critical moment. I was there when the team needed me. For my performance last season, I gave myself an A because of my efforts on the court. After two and a half years of rest, I still became the second scorer of the champion team? I can’t think of a better result than this.” Clay continued.

In the 2021-22 season, Clay played 32 regular season games with 20.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists; In the 22 playoff games, Clay played 19 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals.
