Beverly said: “My mentality is that I can enter the big list. I performed very well in the training camp. I took the defense all over the court. I gave LeBlanc an air relay. After that, Mike Miller was injured. They introduced Jerry Stackhouse and they laid me off. If Miller doesn’t get hurt, I can play Dallas in the finals with the heat. Maybe I can lock Jason Terry. On October 23, 2010, Jerry Stackhouse signed a contract with the heat to replace the injured Mike Miller. On October 25, 2010, Beverly was cut by the heat at the end of the preseason.
