Live Bar, October 29 news recently, Clippers coach Taren Lu talked about The experience of joining Knights before in The Old Man & The Three program.
Lu said: “David Griffin (former general manager of Knight) called. I can’t leave Doug. I can’t do this. Then, they gave more and more money, so I called Doug. I told him that the Knight offered me a crazy quotation and I wanted to know what he thought.
“Doug thinks it’s I am time for me to take a shot. I have the opportunity to continue to make progress in the Knight. He thinks that going to the knight is I am good thing. It was very difficult, because Doug taught me a lot. I think it was a difficult decision, and at that time LeBlanc was not sure to return to the Knight.”
Lu became a teaching assistant of rivers in 2011 and was poached by Knights from the Clippers in 2014. In that year, Lu’s salary reached the highest level of NBA assistant coach’s salary (US $6.5 million in 4 years).
