Host: The last time the Lakers won the championship was 2020, which was said to be 2 years ago, but it feels like it’s been a long time.
Beverly: You mean it’s been a long time since our 3-1 lead was turned over. That’s what it means, because that’s the only thing I remember. Of course you can say that. I was in the park that year, but I only remember that the Nuggets eliminated us. At first, I felt depressed and I wanted to go back to the stadium again when training.
In the 2020 playoffs, the Clippers led the Nuggets 3-1 in the Western semi-final but were eventually overturned.
