McGrady said: “I don’t lie, even I am frightened by my ability, I am refers to my scoring ability. I am likely to be a player like Pippen, scoring 20 points, 6 or 7 rebounds and 6 or 7 assists. I didn’t expect that I could score 26 points, I didn’t expect that I could score 32 points on average.”
McGrady averaged 26.8 points in the first season of magic and 32.1 points in the 2002-03 season (scoring king).
