After the game, Morant talked about the team’s defeat in the playoffs last season. He said, “I feel that we (this Council) won that round of series, which is the way I look at it, injuries hurt us.”
In the playoffs last season, Morant injured his knee in G3 and withdrew from the series. In that round of series, the grizzly bear finally lost 2-4 to the Warriors.
