Anhui Wenyi officially competed in the NBL league in the 2015 season and has won three championship championships (2016, 2019 and 2020 seasons) so far.
In the regular season last season, Tang Jie made 9 appearances on behalf of Guangdong, with an average of 11.9 minutes, scoring 2.3 points, 1.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.6 steals.
